JOINT PROGRAMS AND MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

For membership purposes, the Official MBA Guide treats universities in a manner similar to AACSB accreditation rules: If a university with programs in more than one location would be accredited as a separate autonomous unit at each location (whether or not accredited) each location is subject to a separate setup fee or Premium Membership fee. For example: Sample University - Dallas (TX) and Sample University - Fort Worth (TX) are considered separate autonomous institutions.

If a university with programs in more than one location could be accredited as one institution because of their proximity, only one setup fee or Premium Membership fee is charged, even if each location is reported on our site separately. For example: Sample University - Winter Park (FL) and Sample University - Maitland (FL) would be accredited as a single institution because of their proximity, but may wish to report two locations because they employ different faculty or offer different MBA programs.

An institution may have multiple locations, but one person is the primary contact responsible for maintaining the data for all locations. The one-time setup fee is $500 for the first location and $50 for each additional location. If a Premium membership is desired, the annual fee is $360 for the first location and $100 for each additional location.

Some universities may offer joint MBA programs. University A in Ohio may offer a joint MBA program with University B in Nevada, or University C sponsors an MBA program with University D in Africa. In this case each institution is treated as autonomous, but each may list the joint MBA program in its own Official MBA Guide record.

Send an email to us if you want a Premium Membership for multiple locations.

The Official MBA Guide publishes official information provided by university administrators. To ensure the information remains official, we do not edit or modify the data provided. If a university does not wish to provide data to the Official MBA Guide, we reserve the right to publish information about that university's MBA programs that is publicly available, such as information published by other services, and information in the web site, catalogs, or other materials published by the university. In that case, we label the record as UNOFFICIAL. Universities that request to be removed from the Official MBA Guide will be removed only if they request to be removed from all other services that publish their data.
