Undergraduate/Graduate Student Ratio

Most colleges and universities that have Masters business programs also have undergraduate programs in business. In most cases, the undergraduate programs in these schools are much larger than the graduate programs and therefore may have a bearing on the resources and attention that is given to the graduate program. In general, a small ratio is preferable to a large ratio. A school with a ratio of 10:1 has ten times more undergraduate students than graduate students, one with a ratio of 1:1 has the same number, and a ratio of 0:1 means that the school specializes in graduate education.

For ranking purposes, lower undergraduate/graduate ratios receive higher rank positions.
