Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, and I am pretty much impressed by the depth of discussion going on in several threads. I want some advice on pursuing an MBA from the UK.
To put it briefly, I am a Commerce graduate and have three years of full time work experience with a major (Big Four) accounting practice, which I pursued alongside my graduation. While some UK universities acknowledge this as the requisite work experience for their MBA program, some do not (as they are specific about post graduate or Managerial work experience). I was a bit surprised that some Universities (Strathclyde) also have a minimum age limit for admission.
I am keen on pursuing my MBA at an early stage of my career, and I personally believe I have a decent work experience which will be of genuine use in an MBA program. I am not for a "fresher" MBA or a DL MBA and I believe a good work experience is essential for getting the best out of an MBA program.
Keeping the above in mind, please tell me which University would be best suited for me, from the ones listed below:
a) Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen Business School)
b) University of Aberdeen
c) University of Leicestershire
I've not exactly narrowed down my choices, I have selected these three based on the Times and Guardian League Tables, employability statistics and most importantly - COST.
I look forward to some insights and advice.
Thanks in Advance
Vivek
