Hello everyone wanted to hear peoples opinion on my sitution here because I know you all are great and know more about this than I do!

I am a third year medical student at a U.S. school in Puerto Rico.
I earned an AACSB accred. Marketing degree as well as a chemistry degree and biology minor at Florida State University.

I would love to become the chief of the Emergency room one day down the line and would love to have the masters level knowledge to open urgent care centers in my area to alleviate ER traffic and make care available to ppl. w.o a primary care physician.

That being said: Pfieffer Univ. has an MBA/MHA dual degree I really like on paper. The school is regionally accred and is an actualy university w/ a division II NCAA program and all that...not a diploma mill is what I'd like to say. As I read i've learned about the AACSB and some people say yes some no.....I already have an AACSB bachelors and am going to primarily be a clinician so I wanted to know if I need the AACSB MBA (univ. of south dakota health care MBA would be my choice). doesn't getting two masters even if it's not AACSB accred say something about work ethic and education? I don't know how schools that are only regionally accred. are perceived by business execs or administrators at major university hospitals/private hospitals. I appreciate you all reading this long post but thank you in advance!

There are many fine MBA programs that are not AACSB accredited. AACSB accreditation is basically a guarantee that the program meets certain standards. You don't know what you will get with an unaccredited program, but if you do your research, as you appear to have done, you can find good ones.

As you say, Pfeiffer isn't an unaccredited school. Their regional accreditation does indicate that they meet recognized standards, even though the accreditation isn't specific to their MBA programs.

After you finish going to medical school in Puerto Rico can you choose any hospitals in the US and work there?
