I am 52 years old and have been out of the main stream corporate life for the past 20 years. I am looking to begin a new career and thought obtaining an MBA would be helpful. Am i being realistic? Which schools both in US and Europe would be appropriate? I am thinking about a one year program.

I would be really grateful if someone could help me because I an really confused. I am currently enrolled in BA (Bachelor of Arts in International Auditing and Finance) and I will star working immediately after the Bachelor Diploma. Now, is it possible for me with ONLY BA diploma to enroll in a certain MBA program after a few years of work experience??

Yes, it is possible. While schools have requirements for MBA applicants, most schools evaluate each applicant on a case-by-case basis.

Some schools may consider work experience more important than your educational background. In my own Executive MBA class, for example, the school admitted an older woman with only a high-school diploma, because she already had proven experience by managing her own business for several years, and she also passed the GMAT with a high score. She didn't need a college degree, she just needed to show that she was capable of contributing. She ended up graduating near the top of our class, so I think the school did a smart thing by admitting her.
