Is it a good time for a career change thru mba?

Hi All,
I am looking for a career change by getting into a good B school in 2009. I already have a good gmat score and ready to prepare the applications.

Looking at the global financial crisis, I am not sure if this is the right time to get into a B school especially if I am looking for a career change. I do not know how good or bad are the placements going on in the B schools this year.

I would appreciate if you could provide some valuable inputs on this.

In my opinion I would say this is the right time to develop skills. There are layoffs everywhere due to global turmoil and only the best survives in the industry. Investing on education would be the right decision now as it will make you more employable in future. More over you need to be multi tasking and know the tools for information system.
