Hi All.. I wanted to be different and wanted to try and find out more about what accessories u guys typically use for you MBA and how stylish they are... for example what kind of Bag would you use.... or what kind of laptop wud you prefer to use... in these terms :)
This poll isn't well designed. There are 3 brands Windows-based laptops listed, all of which have equivalent models, and one Macintosh laptop.
In my experience, you will need a laptop compatible with everyone else in the class, and the business world generally doesn't use Macs. Macs are cool and useful in creative professions, but if you bring one to an MBA class, you may find yourself needing to buy a Windows laptop anyway, or run a Windows emulator that works with all the Windows software your school will require you to have.
If you have selected a school, ask the business school (admissions person, dean, a professor) what kind of laptop they require.
Among the 3 brands you list, it doesn't really matter which brand you choose. They all make equivalent laptops.
If it were me, I'd go for the one with the highest resolution display for the lowest price. Minimum 2 gigabytes of memory and 80 gigabytes hard drive.
Price is important. Any laptop becomes obsolete after about 18 months. You can expect to get 3 or 4 years of use out of one before you need to replace it.

Well I do understand Mac seemingly looks like the odd one out here. But the new macs come with windows and Dual Boot options right?
Besides the macs come well loaded too ... im getting one with 4 gb ddr3 ram, 1066 bus speeds(dunno what it means) 2.8 Ghz core2duo, 320 GB HDD a good graphics card, Nvidia 9400 M its called and my friends tell me this lappies performance should last atleast 4 -5 years.
Now the point is i do know there are other laptops in the market.. but i'm getting this one at a special student discount. All I need to do is show identity and ill be getting a 10% discount it seems.. :D .. I knw that discounts big... but check it out for yourself http://www.apple.com/in/students/
I'm not familiar with Macs, so I don't know about the dual-boot, but I do know they can emulate Windows and run Windows programs. Sounds like a good laptop you're getting there.

Mac can run on windows and mac os. They are least affected by computer viruses. What I like about apple computer is the looks apart from the performance. The university student offers on apple computers are attractive.

Although I am personally more of a mac person, I'd say a PC is normally your best bet when it comes to blending in with the business world. However, macs are now capable of running Windows as well as OSX so I believe that if you can afford it, go with a mac!

I don’t know much about Mac but my opinion is Dell is good and it helps you well for your educational purposes.

I Recommend Dell and HP, because currently I’m using HP laptop for my studies but the Dell also has good demand.

Can't live without my MacBook! My old one crashed last month, so I was using two of my friends' Dells. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. Now I'm back on my MacBook and lovin' life!!

I Recommend MacBook Pros. It is made out of aluminum so it's sturdy and durable, but light. They aren't too small, (you pick the size, 13, 15, or 17 inch.) They come with safari, an amazing web browser, iTunes, so all your music is right at your finger tips, you can buy Microsoft Office Mac with your Mac or buy it in most wal-marts.These are amazing computers, much better than any Dell out there.

I'm currently working on my MBA and would suggest you choose the technology that is most compatible with your school's technology. I found that time spend converting programs and files could be better spent on coursework.

One advantage of a an traditional MBA program, is that you have the option of using labs and technology on campus. That reduces some of the need for your own technology but the convenience of having your own computer makes working under time contraints (which we all do) much easier.
