Careers in International business are expected to grow in the coming years because of globalization. However the retail sector in India is growing at a faster rate. So it would be a good decision to take up retail course than IB as it is likely to continue growing in the future as well. Otherwise its your choice!

Your worries about your career is genuine. Important is our career. One of my friend is doing MBA in international business as opting major and hr as opting minor choices. But right now due to recession over the world's market, getting a job is very difficult now in days. That's why I'd like to suggest you only that go only that field which you've interested and also after a proper market research over it.
Thanks,

This is probably the right time you take up your MBA. By the time you finish your course, the job market will be doing good. The economy is getting better but it will take some time to get back to the original situation. The college you choose will again play an important role in giving a leg up to your career. Any branded laptop will do for your education and college life, well the more you spend the better it gets. Apple has some good offers for University students in India. MacBook is good at college and at work place too. I'm a mac user and i'm loving it. http://www.apple.com/in/students/ worth checking this link.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, i appreciate it. I'm planning to join Alliance academy of business, B'lore. @ cryo2, i checked the Mac offers and it looks really promising. What i like about apple is its design apart from its performance.

Alliance is a good college. a fren of mine just completed his PGDGB Marketing from Alliance and got placed in LG. The package is quite attractive, havin said this, it all depends on oneself to be able to get into a reputed firm. I'm in my 4th Sem MBA marketing and i'm loking forward for job interviews. Make a wise choice, All the best.

From equal status with men in ancient times through the low points of the medieval period,to the promotion of equal rights by many reformers, the history of women in India has been eventful. In modern India, women have adorned high offices in India including that of the President, Prime minister, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition, etc. The current President of India is a woman.
