One of my friend pursued online degree in his field but I am bit susceptible about my field. Should I commence my degree through online or regular school? Please help to come out of this dilemma.

yes of course!! I am pleased to hear from your side about going HR manager with a huge branded company. That's good. I'd like to recommend you a link where you can get your problem's solution with satisfaction. Get all the relevant consultancy about your MBA admission & also various free online exams. You should go with GMAT test preparation exams. Like your profile, it'd be best option for you.

Earning an online degree is worthy only if done from any accredited university. Please check for the accreditation and recognition of the university before commencing your degree.

Being an HR manager is itself very demanding with lots of responsibilities.HR acts as a bridge between management and employees and needs to be well aware about the requirements from both sides simultaneously.

It means it should go for an online degree in HR. Are you aware of any accredited online university providing such degree program?

As richardhall suggested, I also wanna go with the same overview about it. There are lots of top leaning online patter for the preparation but better to investigate the same.

you can study & prepare for the exams through online. Where you need not to go anywhere just require only one PC & a internet connection. There are lots of websites where you can get lots of study material online.

Thanks,

I would definitely recommend looking into an online degree program (http://onlinedegreeprograms.org), they are much more convenient and so much cheaper. Definitely do the research though and make sure the college is accredited otherwise you might as well just be throwing money out the window.

You should also look into hybrid formats if you're not comfortable with just online learning. Hybrid basically means a combination of on-campus and online coursework... it's a nice combination of the two.

Like everyone else has said in this thread, make sure the university is accredited (and they can be accredited by more than one institution... the more the merrier in my opinion). But yeah -- hybrid programs are a great way to blend the new (online) with the old/traditional (on-campus). And there are many great programs out there, many of which are probably in your neighborhood!

For international students, though, obviously pure distance learning is the way to go, since they can't really attend a class in the US or UK.

You can go online school if you are a busy person. But if not, you can also for a regular school.

Absolutely agree with Carlton321. Online programs offer an excellent opportunity to busy professionals to advance in their careers by enhancing their skills.Distance education (http://www.independence.edu/) programs are easy to incorporate into your life. They allow you to keep a full time job and get a valid education all at the same time. The only thing you should be careful about is that the college you go to has proper accreditation.

Advantage of distance learning is the matter of flexibility, particularly to international students seeking to obtain a degree from an accredited US-based institution. It allows them a wider choice of institutions to suit their specific interests and one that meets the requirements of the appropriate accrediting agencies. It also provides a great opportunity for busy working professionals to gain the additional training they need to advance within their respective fields without having to leave their jobs to attend a traditional campus-based institution. Other advantages of distance education include:

Do your best to avoid getting behind in your courses. If you wait too long to approach assignments or access tests, you won’t have enough time to ask questions if you need to. Surely stay away from turning in assignments late, unless you have an emergency. If this is the case, the course instructor or school advisor should be contacted immediately for notification. Try not to use software programs that are not yet approved by the online learning provider. This could create some technical issues with uploading and the proper view of your submitted assignments. Contact your instructor(s) before assuming. Such may result in point deduction or a lower grade.

You might want to consider a part time MBA (http://graduate.bentley.edu/mba/emba) program. Bentley University has a great program where you can take classes on campus and some online. It's really flexible and allows you to complete the course on your own timeframe. I think something like this could definitely help you with your career goals.
